What is BringOne

Any new name you submit to ELIC through our BringOne form is yours for two years. After submitting names to ELIC, someone from our staff will reach out and mention that you recommended them. Remember, these are people you have a relationship with and who you recommend. You shouldn't submit names of people you have had no contact with or wouldn't want their information shared.

We might ask that you help us get in touch, and we hope that you stay in contact with the names you submit as they consider going overseas with us. If they decide to serve with ELIC, you will be credited the amount based on if they go short or long-term with us. Profile credits are paid out after the departure of the commit.

Sometimes multiple people are involved in recruiting someone to serve. To eliminate the potential of various people being linked to a referred name, we ask that you submit all names through our BringOne form.

There is an expectation that you have "brought" them and will help assist our staff as they work closely with the prospective candidate. If another teacher walks them through the process and commits, we will consider giving the BringOne credit to that teacher.

We have solved the problem of multiple people claiming a referral as theirs by requiring all names to be submitted online through our digital form. This is the easiest way for us to track a name's progress and ensure there isn't any confusion.

Remember to stay in touch with the people you refer! There are many ways to keep in touch with the names you recommend. Email, phone calls, grabbing a coffee, or just checking in, are all ways you can "bring" someone to ELIC as they work with our staff. Please ensure the person you recommend shares that you are their point of contact and keep in touch with them! We constantly check to see who is involved in a candidate's process as they work with us.

Nope! We will reach out to each name that you send to us. The expectation is that you have notified them that they'll receive a phone call or email from our Mobilization team.

If you Bring One to a Summer program, you will receive your choice of these three incentives:

• a $250 credit towards a Legacy program for yourself,
• or a $100 credit towards an Engage program for yourself,
• or a $50 merchant gift card

For our new Summer teachers, once you are "Green-lit" for service, you can submit names and receive a profile credit for each participant! For every Year+ program participant you bring in, you will receive a $150 gift card! For every Summer program participant you bring in, you will receive a $100 gift card!
